Welcome to the Spring Gallery

The season acts as a link between two extremes. The onset of this much anticipated time of year begins with snow beginning to evaporate and recede. The earth below is starting to be revealed. Fallen trees trunks and pre Cambrian rocks are scattered throughout the forest landscape. Running water can be heard as streams become full. By late spring, Mother Nature is in full renewal and is a harbinger of what’s to come next. My paintings capture this fleeting yet elementally diverse segment of the year in my beloved Laurentian mountain area.
